Biography: I am the Chief Information Office for MGA and a lecturer in the School of Business and Health Administration. I have over 30 years of experience in a variety of roles in operational and financial management in public, private, and corporate organizations. My primary focus has been improving organizations through enabling data analytics and technology. I have professional certifications in Managerial Accounting and Software Quality Engineering. I am also a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt. My expertise is in increasing operational and financial performance for underperforming companies. My teaching philosophy and pedagogy is that learning happens when theory is placed into action. As such, I gravitate towards a studio or design pedagogy. Students work on community problems with the intent of providing implementable solutions. A belief in experiential learning and constructivism are at the core of my philosophy.
