Biography:	I began my career by working part-time for a fundraising company in high school. While attending Florida State University, I worked Summers as a Fabrication Service Operator(FSO) at Lithonia Lighting. After graduation, I began working part-time at Middle Georgia College (MGC) as a Laboratory Assistant and worked full time at the factory. I quickly rose to the position of shift lead, assigning tasks to the other FSO’s in order to complete the scheduled workload. After a couple of years, a position as Laboratory Technician opened up at MGC, and I joined the staff full time and quit working at the factory. I have now worked at MGA for over twenty years, through two name changes. I have worked in both the Natural Sciences Department as well as the EH&S Office. I have held positions as Laboratory Technician; Safety/Risk Management Personnel; and, now, Laboratory Coordinator.
Education: (All institutions attended and degrees or credentials earned)	B.S. in Physics from Florida State University
Professional Experience:	Currently I am the Laboratory Coordinator in the Natural Science Labs stationed on the Cochran campus (and covering the Dublin campus). I also cover many of the chemical hygiene duties for the entire university. I have been doing this job for over twenty years, and used to work part-time in the Environmental, Health, and Safety Office. I have been at this post for three major lab renovations and related moving of all the equipment. I was a key figure in getting MGC through the EPA self-audit program and was a member of the audit team for MSC before the two institutions merged into Middle Georgia State University. In 2019 I won the MGA Champion award presented annually to a staff member who epitomizes the values of the University.
