| Biography: | I am 58 yrs old, divorced with two wonderful children. My background has been in human services as a counselor, case manager, social worker, and working in higher education as an instructor, special needs/ disability services coordinator for most of the last 33 years. I have been teaching various Psychology and Sociology courses for different colleges since ’98. I have an MS in Counseling Psychology and my undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Sociology. Of all the institutions I’ve taught for, my favorite is right here at MGSU, my first post-secondary alma mater (’82, when it was known as Macon Junior College). Teaching in the social sciences is my passion and my fuel for life! |

| Professional Experience: | I have either studied, worked, or taught in the human services/behavioral sciences field since 1979, as a counselor, case manager, social worker, coordinator and instructor. With regards to teaching, I have instructed various social science courses on the post-secondary level at 8 different institutions since 1998 and it is my passion to make this subject area "real" for my students by sharing my "real-world" applications from my in-field work experience since 1985 into the classroom.
