Teaching and Research Interests: Dr. Kilburn's teaching areas include undergraduate mathematics courses. His scholarly and professional interests include mathematics education, curriculum development, effective instructional practices, and supporting student success, with particular emphasis on strengthening the transition between secondary and postsecondary mathematics. He is especially passionate about partnering with local schools and school systems to expand access to dual-enrollment opportunities and to support college readiness in mathematics.
