| Biography: | Wayne E. Lockwood, Ph.D. Lecturer, Department of Information Technology – School of Computing I am an Information Technology educator with over 25 years of hands-on experience in IT, networking, and systems administration across public, private, and government education environments. I hold a Ph.D. in Technology and Innovation Management with a focus in Cybersecurity from National University, an M.S. in Management Information Systems from Northcentral University, and a B.S. in Information Systems from Mercer University. Since 2012, I have taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate IT courses including Networking Fundamentals, Network Security, Linux Systems Administration, Database Principles, Windows Server, and Web Server Administration. My professional background includes enterprise network administration, voice telecommunications, server support, and network infrastructure—covering both wired and wireless environments. I have extensive experience with technologies such as Cisco, Nortel, Fluke, Microsoft Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, and a variety of security appliances and client-server applications. Outside of academia, I enjoy flying drones, riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, and music. Originally from Minnesota, I stay connected to my roots and find joy in travel, family, and creative pursuits. |
