| Biography: | Tyler Sapp, Ed.S., serves as a Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Teacher Education and Social Work at Middle Georgia State University. He is also a sixth-grade mathematics teacher, Math Department Chair, and Data Team Lead at Bleckley County Middle School. Mr. Sapp has experience teaching elementary education, middle grades mathematics, special education, reading, and gifted education. His professional career includes classroom teaching, educational leadership, curriculum development, and teacher preparation. He is passionate about preparing future educators through practical, research-based instruction that emphasizes effective teaching, meaningful student engagement, and strong partnerships with families. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Sapp has served in numerous leadership roles, including Former Chair of the Georgia Department of Education's State Advisory Panel for Special Education and a Former Georgia Teaching Policy Fellow. He is committed to mentoring future teachers and helping them become reflective, effective educators who positively impact the students, schools, and communities they serve. |
