Office Hours: Dr. Walker has a physical office on the Cochran campus, Wiggs 23. Office hours will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am until 10:50am, or by appointment. She also teaches on the Dublin campus on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Biography: Dr. Walker is originally from the middle Georgia area. She taught children with emotional and behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other developmental disabilities in the Georgia school system for 20 years before joining MGA as a member of the psychology department faculty. She enjoys antiquing, reading, gardening, woodworking, and traveling.

Teaching and Research Interests: Dr. Walker enjoys teaching introduction to psychology, introduction to human development, child psychology, research methods, applied behavior analysis, and capstone in psychology. Her research interests are emotion regulation, applied behavior analysis, positive psychology topics, career readiness, and states of consciousness, among many others.

Lecturer of psychology from 2014- 2022.
Taught children with emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in Bibb County Public Schools and in Emanuel County Public Schools from 1993 - 2012.
