Biography: | I am an Assistant Nursing Professor currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Navicent Medical Center in the Family Birth Center. I am an MSN graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with a focus in Patient Safety and Quality and a DNP graduate from Purdue in Nursing Leadership. With 25 plus years in nursing, I have had several job roles and responsibilities. Mental Health/Substance Abuse, Mother/Baby, Pediatric and Adult Emergency Medicine along with Leadership/Management positions. Most of my career and passion has been and continues to be in pediatrics and newborn nursing. Outside of work, I serve on the Community Advisory Board for Rainbow House in Houston County and enjoy traveling and gardening. |
