| Biography: | I started teaching at Middle Georgia State University in fall 2026, where I teach English 1101. Before moving into the classroom, I spent over 13 years as a content specialist and editor, writing and editing for national brands such as Home Depot, Allrecipes, Better Homes & Gardens, and HGTV. Across that career, my work always came back to the same thing: helping people understand how to do things, whether that meant writing clear instructions, breaking down complex subjects, or shaping a story so it actually reaches the reader. I bring that same instinct to teaching writing. I believe that clear thinking and clear writing go hand in hand, and helping someone find their voice on the page is one of the most rewarding parts of the work. |
