Master Of Science In Occupational Therapy (MSOT)

This program is designed to allow Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to further their education by building upon their existing knowledge and experience. Students develop skills in occupational therapy theory, evaluation, evidence-based intervention, and program development.

In addition, they develop skills in management and leadership. The coursework will be completed in a hybrid format, both online and on campus labs and experiential activities. The MSOT program is located on the Cochran campus.

admission Requirements

  • 3.0 undergraduate GPA
  • Minimum of 84 semester equivalent credits (includes courses from OTA degree and prerequisite courses) from an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized accrediting agency; 43 of these hours must be OTA courses
  • 1 year of full-time work experience as a licensed COTA
  • Grade of C or higher in Elementary Statistics, Intro to Sociology, Abnormal Psychology, and Research Methods for Health Sciences
