DESCRIPTION: Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Professor for the College of Arts and Sciences in the Department of Mathematics to begin in fall 2019. This position involves a combination of teaching, scholarship, professional development, and service to the department, university, and community. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening classes in lower- and upper-level mathematics courses. Travel between campuses (Dublin, Cochran, Eastman, Warner Robins, and Macon) may be required. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with an earned doctorate in Mathematics or Mathematics Education are preferred, though this is not a firm requirement. All candidates must have a strong record of teaching.
