Dr. Carol Sargent, associate professor of Accounting at Middle Georgia State College, has received the 2014 American Accounting Association’s Outstanding Research in Accounting Education Award, sponsored by Ernst & Young. She received this honor at the American Accounting Association’s Annual Meeting in Atlanta in August 2014.
