Summer camp isn't just about arts, crafts, and afternoons by the lake anymore.

 

Campers at the Junior Knight summer camp are keeping their minds sharp between the school years.

"Research says that 35% of students will regress over the summer when they're not challenged academically, so we wanted to provide parents with an opportunity and a place to have their kids be challenged academically but in a fun safe learning environment," camp director Wendy Pooler said.

The summer camp at Middle Georgia State on a STEAM curriculum for its campers.
