Students and their parents interested in learning more about dually enrolling in college before graduating high school are invited to chat live via Facebook with Maggie Schuyler, assistant director of Admissions at Middle Georgia State University, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12. To join in the conversation, go to the dual-enrollment program's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/MGAMOWR/.

Through dual enrollment (formerly known in Georgia as Move On When Ready), qualified students can begin taking college courses for credit before they graduate from high school. The Georgia Student Finance Commission covers tuition, textbooks, and nearly all fees for dual-enrollment students. Students can begin when they are high school sophomores if they qualify. In some cases, high school students have completed as much as two years’ worth of college for FREE by taking dual-enrollment courses.

The number of dual-enrollment students at Middle Georgia State is among the highest in the University System of Georgia. Middle Georgia State has campuses in Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins, as well as online programs and courses.
