Generally
Middle Georgia State University strives to comply with all applicable Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations, as well as Board of Regents policy and University policies and procedures. Ultimately the president of MGA is responsible for ensuring that the University complies with all laws, rules and regulations.
The campus Internal Auditor is the designated MGA compliance officer. The Chief Counsel & Campus Affairs Officer—who chairs the University Compliance Commission—is the point of contact for policy changes. The following compliance officers have been appointed for the specific areas due to the large number of high risk policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
