Weather Alert- Campus Updates for Monday (3/16/2026)
Middle Georgia State University will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to potential severe weather that is forecasted to affect our area in the morning. All previously scheduled student events will be canceled, rescheduled, or have a delayed start. Limited dining services for residential students will be available during this time.
Students are advised to consult with their instructors for any academic updates. Additional updates for campus operations will be communicated via the Knight Alert (RAVE Guardian) system, MGA’s official social media channels, and campus email.
Rest assured, the University is working across departments and campuses to ensure preparedness for the storm. As a StormReady University Community, we encourage the Knight community to be weather aware. Monitor weather via local media, weather app, or @NWSAtlanta on Twitter. Please make sure you have downloaded the RAVE Guardian app and you have accurate phone numbers in SWORDS.
