was moved from its traditional spring date to
September.

  “As a new University, it’s critical Middle
Georgia State establish annual traditions and
special occasions to help graduates of our
legacy institutions continue to be linked in,”
said Dr. Christopher Blake, president. “The gradu-
ates of the former Macon Junior College, Macon
College, Macon State College, Middle Georgia
College and Middle Georgia State College make up
the foundation the University is building upon to
have an even greater impact on the region.”
