Applied Behavior Analysis Minor
MGA’s minor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides instruction in the field of ABA where practitioners are in high demand in the job market, particular in helping provide care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/hcp-dsm.html. MGA has partnered with local ABA practitioners to develop the course content of the program and to provide select students with opportunities to connect with potential supervisors for fieldwork opportunities.
MGA’s minor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a Verified Course Sequence (VCS).
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA) examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination, as described here (see Pathway 2”): BACB 2022 Eligibility Requirements
