Criminal justice major and Knights soccer player Andrew Preston wants a career in forensics investigations.

High School: “I went to Luella High School and participated in soccer and cross country.”

Family: “My mother, Sun Pok Preston, my father, Walter Preston Jr., my older brother, Walter Preston III, and my puppy, Lucky.”

Current Employment: Full-time student.

Degree Objective: Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

Class Rank: Senior.

Primary Campus: Cochran.

Activities: Soccer, Anime Club, Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM), internship with the Middle Georgia State Police Department.

Career Goals: “My career goal is to become a latent fingerprint examiner because I find it interesting to work with DNA, evidence and investigations.”

He chose Middle Georgia State because … “Its competitive level of soccer, high quality coaching and criminal justice program.”

The one thing that surprised him about Middle Georgia State was … “The faculty and staff. Everyone from the chefs, janitors, coaches, professors and others are so kind and helpful that it should not be too hard to succeed while feeling welcomed and respected.”

His favorite professor is … “Dr. Gloria Huddleston. She was always helpful to me and an awesome person to talk to. I took Biology II with her.”

His favorite place to study is … “My room.”

One thing people don’t know about him is … “I am an avid computer gamer.”
