MGA Breaks Ground on Warner Robins Campus STEM Building

The state-funded building will add much-needed labs, technology based classrooms and a lecture hall for bachelor's degree programs related to STEM - science, technology, engineering and math - on the Warner Robins Campus. MGA's goal is to hold the first classes in the 13,250-square-foot building during spring semester 2018.
"This project is one that has been long envisioned," Dr. Christopher Blake, MGA's president, told dozens of civic, business and military representatives who attended the ceremony. "We want it to be a resource not just for Middle Georgia State University but for the community."
The building will be connected to Oak Hall on the south end of the Warner Robins Campus. The campus is located across from City Hall and about half a mile from the main gate of Robins Air Force Base.
Building architect is Lyman Davidson Dooly. The program manager is Parramore & Quinn, while Piedmont Construction will handle construction management.
Several bachelor's and associate's degrees - Business, IT, Nursing - can be completed entirely or largely on the Warner Robins Campus, which is also home to the administrative offices of MGA's graduate studies programs.
