Potential students for this program come from a broad variety of backgrounds. Potential interests include: Sports, sports production, TV broadcasting, radio broadcasting, on-air commentary, audio production, content creation, and podcasting.

As the global sporting world expands, so too are opportunities for sports communication majors. Our program will provide you with hands on experience from the day you step on campus. Learn all aspects of the sports communication industry and make connections with local sports outlets and organization. Career Opportunities

The Sports Broadcasting Production concentration prepares students for a wide variety of careers in film and video production and for additional academic coursework in graduate school. Students may pursue career paths in sports anchor, sports reporter, camera operator, production assistant, play-by-play commentator, sports producer, video editor, audio engineer, research assistant, social media manager and field producer to name a few.
