Were you placed on a one semester Academic dismissal?
Students that were previously placed on a one semester academic dismissal, are eligible to return after the one semester dismissal period has ended. Students returning from a one semester academic dismissal will be placed on academic probation.
Have you attended another institution since your last semester at MGA?
Transfer applicants returning to MGA that have less than 30 cumulative (transfer + institutional) GPA hours must present a cumulative (transfer + institutional) grade-point average of 2.00 or above (based on a 4.00 scale) on all work attempted to be readmitted in “Good Standing”.
Transfer applicants returning to MGA that have less than 30 cumulative (transfer + institutional) GPA hours must present a cumulative (transfer + institutional) grade-point average less than 2.00 (based on a 4.00 scale) on all work attempted to be readmitted in “Probation”.
Transfer applicants returning to MGA that have 30 or more cumulative (transfer + institutional) GPA hours must present a cumulative (transfer + institutional) grade-point average of 2.00 or above (based on a 4.00 scale) on all work attempted to be readmitted in “Good Standing”.
Transfer applicants returning to MGA that have 30 or more cumulative (transfer + institutional) GPA hours and have a cumulative (transfer + institutional) grade-point average that is below 2.00 (based on a 4.00 scale) on all work attempted will not be considered for readmission.
Transfer applicants returning to MGA that are currently on academic exclusion or dismissal will be considered for admission, after the exclusion or dismissal period has ended, if student meets all other readmissions criteria.
Are you currently a transient student at MGA and would like to continue as a transfer student?
Transfer applicants must present a cumulative grade-point average of 2.00 or above (based on a 4.00 scale) on all work attempted and must be in “good standing” at the last institution attended in order to be admitted in “good standing”.
Transfer applicants whose cumulative grade-point average is below 2.00 may be considered for admission and placed on academic probation.
Transfer applicants whose academic status was probation, exclusion, or dismissal when last enrolled at any institution will, if admitted, be placed on academic probation.
Transfer applicants that are currently on academic exclusion or dismissal will be considered for admission, after the exclusion or dismissal period has ended.
Students with less than 30 transferable hours must also meet freshman requirements.
