About
The Center for Career and Leadership Development is committed to providing career and leadership development for our diverse student body. We believe that all students have the capacity to learn and demonstrate leadership. Our programs are designed to prepare you for leadership for your campus, civic, and professional lives. Grounded in the NACE Career Competencies and the Social Change Model of Leadership Development/7 C's of Leadership , these programs are designed to prepare you for leadership in not just your campus life but your civic and professional lives as well. We know that employers consistently list leadership as a top skill they seek in new hires, and we want MGA students to be competitive in the global marketplace.
Goals
1) Assist in the development of leadership skills
2) Identify how leadership skills interact with other career competencies and how they can be used for the benefit of the communities participants are part of
3) Help participants explore other leadership opportunities on campus
4) Develop an awareness of the value of service
