The FAFSA is the primary application used by students to apply for financial aid. The application can be completed at: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Income information from the year 2020 is required to complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA.The Office of Financial Aid provides assistance for students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend Middle Georgia State University. It is the intention of the university to help as many students as possible by providing assistance with grants, scholarships, loans and/or student employment.
MGA is able to offer many students financial assistance. We realize that despite scholarship assistance and the reasonable cost of an MGA education, you and/or your family may not be able to provide the resources necessary to fund your college education. We hope that no student will fail to consider our institution due to financial reasons.
The Financial Aid Office is committed to helping you find ways to finance your education. Our staff can help you sort through various types of financial aid, including the Georgia HOPE programs and Federal Student Aid Programs.
