Eligibility for Health Clinic Services

Students

  • All Middle Georgia State University students paying the Student Health Fee and enrolled during the current semester are eligible to use the Health Clinic services.
  • Consent from a parent/guardian is required for students under the age of 18.
  • A valid MGA Knight ID card is required to access services at the Health Clinic.
  • Services are free to students with the exception for any lab or testing fees.
  • If testing is required, the Clinic currently only accepts cash payments.
    • Students who do not have payment for services at the time of visit, a confidential charge will be made to their student account via the Bursar's Office.

Faculty

  • In the event a faculty/staff member is unable to be seen by their primary care provider, a CVS minute clinic, or LiveHealth on-line as preferred through USG employee benefits/insurance, they can be seen in the health clinic for a $25 per visit charge.
  • Faculty/Staff are expected to pay the $25 fee at time of visit.
  • The Clinics currently only accepts cash and check payments.
  • No credit/debit transactions are accepted and services are not eligible for FSA/HSA.
  • Additional fees are added for testing, medicines, or outsourced labs as required.
