Students are expected to schedule a move-in/move-out time with at least 24 hours in advance. Click here to access the login for the Housing Portal. You should see this screen: 

Please click on MGA – Student SSO Login at the bottom (you will need the same information to log in to your SWORDS account.) Once you are logged in, the next screen should say HOME and in the purple menu bar, you should see the word APPOINTMENTS, please click there. 

On the next screen, you will see TERM SELECTOR. Please click on the current year/semester. This will take you to the available move-in appointments for your residence hall.  

Students will only be able to see times that are available for their building. For example, if all slots for a particular time have been selected, students will not see that particular time on the calendar. Once students schedule a move-out time, they will be able to modify it simply by returning to the same link.  

If students need to schedule a move-out time for days not listed at all, please email your Residence Life Coordinator with your requested time and they will do their best to accommodate you.

1. What do I need to bring? The rooms are only so big so we encourage you to connect with your roommate/suitemates prior to move in to prevent duplicating items for the space.  A packing checklist can be found here. 
2. Bring water with you to move in. You might get thirsty.
3. Be prepared for rainy weather and avoid packing in cardboard.
4. Have a photo ID on hand for check-in. A friend or family member cannot receive a key for a student.
5. Due to the high volume of traffic, we have staggered arrival times. Please adhere to your selected move-in time. Still need to select a move-in time? Please select a move in time on your housing portal.
6. Parking near the residence halls is in high demand during move-in. Please be courteous to others by unpacking your vehicle(s) quickly and moving them to the parking lot. This will allow others arriving behind you to park closer to the building to unload.
