Facilities Maintenance & Services

Requests for custodial services can be made by submitting a work request at WebTMA. This could include problems with service, additional needs or special project requests. 

• Key request forms
  Key request forms can be obtained from this link, Key Request Authorization and Agreement , or directly from Facilities Maintenance & Services (FMS). All completed request forms must be signed by the receiver's supervisor (i.e. VP, Dean, Chair) and submitted to FMS.  Key request forms are generally completed within 24-48 hours. The key requestor may pick up the key from FMS and sign the form upon receiving his/her key(s).
• Changing Offices
  If you are moving to another office, you must return your old office keys to Facilities Maintenance & Services and have them removed from your record. Updates will need to be made to the employee's Key Request Form in order to add the new office keys.
• Replacement of Lost or Stolen Keys
  - The key holder agrees to report such loss or theft immediately to Facilities Maintenance & Services. There is a $10 per interior door key charge per lost or missing key. In the event an exterior key is lost, it is $50 per door; all grand masters are $100.
  - Fees will be paid to the MGA Student Account Services; a receipt will be provided. The key holder will submit the receipt to Facilities Maintenance & Services and will be issued replacement keys. Replacement keys are usually available 24-48 hours after FMS receives notification from Student Account Services.
• Retirement or Termination
  When an employee leaves the Institution, keys must be returned to Facilities Maintenance & Services as part of the exit paperwork. FMS will pull records and ensure that all keys have been returned. Any charges for lost or missing keys will be deducted from the employee's final paycheck.

Requests for repair, replacement, or adjustment of building systems can be made by submitting a work request at WebTMA. There is no login required to submit work order requests.

During business hours, emergency repair calls should be made to Facilities Maintenance & Services - Macon Campus at 478.471.2780 and Cochran Campus at 478.934.3000.

After-hour emergency requests should be directed to MGA Police at 478.934.3002. Police will notify the appropriate maintenance personnel on call in the event of a facility emergency.

Please report any pest control problems to Facilities Maintenance & Services by submitting a work request at WebTMA.

Pest control routinely inspect and treat public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and public bathrooms. Please note that the pest control company is only allowed to spray dorm rooms by request. Pest control is on campus once per week and will follow up on any pest control issues that have been submitted. FMS will investigate reported issues and treat as we are able while awaiting follow up from pest control.

MGA uses a Voice Over Internet Protocols (VOIP) phone system. This phone system is managed by the Office of Technology Resources. If you have any questions or problems with the phone system, please see the VOIP  page for resources and information. 

Emergency land line and elevator phone issues should still be reported to christy.barlow@mga.edu.

Facilities Maintenance & Services (FMS) is here to provide support when there are events scheduled on campus. If you are planning an event at MGA, please be sure to visit the Conference & Event Services page for information. Space Reservation Forms should be submitted with details of your event. If you are in need of set up, such as tables, chairs, extension cords, etc, a work request should also be submitted in WebTMA detailing your set up needs. 24 hours notice is required to ensure your set up is completed in a timely manner, 48 hrs notice for larger events.
