Distance Learning How-tos
Stay Up-to-Date
MGA’s Coronavirus (COVID‑19) Information and Resources
Communication
- Check email and D2L regularly for messages and information from your instructors.
- Use the communication methods recommended by your instructors.
- Make your instructor aware of any difficulties you are having with course materials and activities as soon as possible.
Personal Responsibility: Self Scheduling and Managing Your Time
- Create a workspace that is easy to work in.
- Create a study plan. A good checklist can make everything go smoother.
- Complete assignments early if possible, to help avoid any unforeseen issues that may arise.
- Stay motivated! We know that this is an uncertain time and that transition to online teaching in the middle of the semester is disruptive. A great way to stay motivated is to stay connected and engaged in your classes; maintain your course, program, and career goals; and to follow a good learning/study plan. If you can, interact with your fellow students remotely.
