Accessibility Services assist students who need accessibility accommodations related to a documented disability including classroom accommodations, testing accommodations, and use of assisted technology.

Center for Career & Leadership Development
The Center for Career & Leadership Development (CCLD) provides career development, professional development, and leadership services and programs for MGA students. The CCLD provides assistance with resume writing, interview skills, job searches, and much more. Services are offered in-person and virtually.

Hardship Withdrawal
Students who are experiencing a non-academic hardship and wish to withdraw from MGA can complete a petition for a hardship withdrawal. Please note that a hardship withdrawal applies to all classes a student is currently enrolled in for the semester and does have an impact on the student’s pass rate. It is recommended that a student who is considering a hardship withdrawal speak with their advisor before making a decision.

Office of Title IX
The office of Title IX at MGA provides resources and support for students experiencing sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or sexual misconduct. The office of Title IX also provides education and policy compliance in order to create a safe environment and prevent sexual discrimination and misconduct at MGA.

Student Success Center
The Student Success Center provides students free tutoring with professional and certified peer tutors and access to online study resources.

The Writing Center
The Writing Center provides feedback on written work including assistance with grammar, citations, research paper guidance, and resources for improving writing skills.

Financial Assistance and Resources
MGA Foundation
The MGA Foundation is a philanthropic organization that raises and manages donation for Middle Georgia State University. The MGA Foundation also provides scholarships for students and emergency funds for crisis situations.

Office of Financial Aid
The office of financial aid is available to help guide students through the financial aid process. The financial aid office can answer questions about the types of aid offered and how to apply for aid.

The office of financial aid can also provide information on MGA’s Work Study Program including Federal Work Study and Student Assistant Programs. Work Study allows eligible students to apply for employment opportunities at MGA using their FAFSA.

Food and Housing Insecurity
Embark Georgia
MGA’s Assessment and Care Team work with Embark Georgia to increase college access and resources to students who have experienced foster care or homelessness. Embark Georgia also can connect students with scholarship resources and opportunities for students who experienced foster care or homelessness.
Knights’ Table
The Knights’ Table is MGA’s food pantry for students, faculty, and staff. The Knights’ Table provides canned food and dry goods as well as personal hygiene products.

Health Clinic
MGA has a Health Clinic on our Macon and Cochran Campuses. The Health Clinic is staffed by licensed Nurse Practitioners and is available to any student who is currently enrolled and has paid the health fee.

Well-Being and Mental Health Resources
Middle Georgia State University provides a variety of mental health resources including in-person counseling, online mental health support, and a 24/7 support line.
BeWell@MGA
BeWell@MGA provides a variety of mental health resources to students including a 24/7 support line as well as MGA’s BeWell Wellness Hub which offers a variety of mental health support services including:
- 24/7 Support Line – 833.646.1526 – providing in the moment support for mental health.
- Togetherall - a free online peer-to-peer platform, offering a safe, anonymous space to give and get support, moderated by trained professionals 24/7.
- Online Prescription Services - access to online prescribing clinic for evaluation and management of mental health mediations.
