Respiratory Therapy & Health Sciences
Welcome to the Department of Respiratory Therapy and Health Sciences at Middle Georgia State University. We are excited you are considering a career in healthcare! The Middle Georgia region is rich in healthcare opportunities and with our health science core taught on five of our six campuses and online, students have many options. The Department of Respiratory Therapy and Health Sciences offers two distinct tracks: Health Science degree programs and Respiratory Therapy degree programs.
School of Health and Natural Science students choosing to pursue a degree with a clinical component will be designated as a Bachelor of Health Science student and advised according to the specific degree they are pursuing. Once accepted into a clinical program the degree will be updated to that major or the student may complete the Health Science degree.
