Some prerequisite courses, as well as MSOT courses, are sequential. Students cannot enroll in an MSOT course unless they have completed the required prerequisite general education courses and MSOT courses with a grade of “C” or better.
Students must obtain a minimum of a “B” or better in all MSOT courses, as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA in order to remain in the MSOT Program.
Students are allowed only one failure of any MSOT course, including Level II Fieldwork courses. Failure of more than one course will result in dismissal from the MSOT program. Continuation in the MSOT program after failure of one MSOT course is at the discretion of the MSOT program director and faculty. The student must be eligible to return to the MSOT program and to MGA.
Upon failure of a course, if the student is eligible to return to the MSOT Program and MGA, the course can only be repeated in the next semester offered, and the student will be unable to progress in the program until passing the course.
Students must complete all academic requirements and all didactic MSOT core courses prior to attending Level II Fieldwork.
Students must complete the MSOT program, including Level II Fieldwork, within three and a half (3.5) years unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Students must pass all Level II Fieldwork courses within 18 months of completion of academic preparation in order to graduate from the program.
