What is Elite Early Assurance (EEA)?
EEA is a program designed to encourage new students to pursue their degrees within the School of Health & Natural Sciences at Middle Georgia State University (MGA) and receive the following benefits throughout their academic journeys:
- Reserved seating for competitive natural science course registration (such as Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, etc.).
- Preferred consideration for admission into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Participate in the Middle Georgia Student Association of Nursing Students (MGSANS) organization
- Connect with Nursing department faculty.
- Connect with junior and senior-level nursing students.
Requirements to Apply
- Must be a high school graduate with a GPA 3.0 or higher.
Requirements to Stay in the EEA Program
- Maintain B+ in all your coursework.
- Take all coursework at MGA.
- You cannot take courses at other institutions and transfer credits to MGA*.
*The only exception is dual enrollment students' transfer credits. Once you are enrolled as a freshman at MGA, you must pledge to take all following courses at MGA.

Dual Enrollment graduates applying to MGA as a university student must follow alternate application instructions given by their academic advisors and apply with the Dual Enrollment- Continuing As Freshman Application.

Apply to Elite Early Assurance (EEA).
Send the completed Student Agreement document to schoolhealthandnatsciences@mga.edu from your MGA student email.

Once you’re accepted into the Elite Early Assurance (EEA) program, you will receive:
- An EEA Program Recipient Certificate.
- Orientation gifts to welcome you to MGA.
- Guidance from academic advisors to help you succeed at MGA.
- Opportunities to connect with faculty from Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and Occupational Therapy Assistant programs.
We encourage all students to work with their academic advisors to take full advantage of all benefits the EEA program offers.
