Application Process
**OTA Program Application will open in OTACAS on September 15 th of each year**
The OTA Program admissions process will be managed through the Occupational Therapy Assistant Centralized Application Service (OTACAS). If you are using OTACAS for the first time, you will need to create an account before you can apply to the OTA Program at MGA. If you are using OTACAS to apply to other programs, please note that the MGA OTA Program has specific requirements. Only those applications that follow the specific instructions will be considered complete in OTACAS and progress to being reviewed. Applicants are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the instructions for submitting an application through OTACAS (available on the OTACAS website) before attempting to apply to the OTA Program.
The deadline for applications to be submitted through OTACAS is May 15th .
Each cohort will begin in August (Fall Semester).
If you are taking courses during the Spring semester that you intend to transfer to MGA, you may be offered admission based on acceptable completion of the courses. An applicant who is accepted on the basis of course work still in progress must satisfactorily complete all outstanding courses prior to enrollment in OTA courses. If taking courses outside MGA, a final transcript must be received by MGA no later than May 31st that indicates completion of all pre-requisite courses with a letter grade of “C” or higher.
