Lost and Found
Items found on campus are periodically turned in to the Police Department. The Police Department staff will attempt to identify and contact the owner of all items of value. Contact will be made via the Middle Georgia State University student e-mail system. Lost and Found items can be claimed at the respective Police Department for the campus that the property is located.
Students may choose to register electronics, bicycles or other traceable property (items with a serial number) on the police website under Operation Identification. Once registered if the item is recovered MGA police have a great chance of checking the database and returning the property.
All items will be kept in the Police Department for thirty calendar days after receipt of item or contact of owner. Items not claimed after thirty days will be donated or destroyed, as appropriate.
