Study Abroad
We live in a global society, and Middle Georgia State University is committed to preparing students to be active global citizens. MGA offers a variety of international and domestic learning opportunities that allow students to broaden their perspectives while earning credit toward their degree programs. Students may participate in:
- Study Abroad programs (2-3 weeks), which provide academic experiences in countries around the world;
- Study Away programs, which offer experiential learning opportunities inside the United States, and
- Student Exchange programs, which allow students to study for a semester at one of MGA's partner institutions abroad.
In addition, students may explore study abroad opportunities available through the University System of Georgia. Participating in these programs offers a unique opportunity to experience different cultures, develop global competencies, and enhance academic and personal growth.
